Ishaq Dar: PTI ban decision to be finalized post-consultation with allies.

Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announced on Tuesday that the decision to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be finalized after consulting with allied political parties, as reported by ARY News.

At a Data Darbar event, Dar attributed the current inflation to economic mismanagement by the PTI government following the 2018 election, which he claimed was stolen. He asserted that the coalition government is working to avoid bankruptcy, restore the economy, and reduce inflation. Dar noted the restoration of diplomatic relations with major countries as a positive sign of economic recovery.

He also mentioned evidence of PTI being foreign-funded, according to the Election Commission. Emphasizing the importance of following the constitution and laws, Dar stated that Information Minister Attaullah Tarar’s recent statements would be discussed with allies before any decisions are made.

Dar highlighted national security as paramount, condemning any actions against it. He reiterated the need for dialogue to resolve issues and stressed that the law and constitution must be upheld, with appropriate punishments enforced.
